Lima (from the Quechua Limaq) is the capital of Peru. It is located on the central coast of the country, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, flanked by the coastal desert and spread over the valleys of the Chillon, Rimac and Lurin rivers. It was founded on January 18, 1535 with the name “The City of the Kings” in the agricultural region that until then was known by the indigenous people as Limaq.

Lima boasts the characteristic of being the only capital city in South America on the ocean shore. Its geographic characteristic was the key to its strategic and political choice by its ancient inhabitants. The climate is humid, temperate, i.e., it does not fall below 12°C and does not rise above 32°C.

Like every major city in the world, Lima is characterized for being the most modern metropolis in Peru, foreign tourists usually spend very little time (few hours) in Lima, having as main objective cities like Cusco (Machu Picchu), Nazca (Nazca lines) or the jungle; but Lima has never been an option for tourism in contact with nature.

We offer a different experience, because Lima also has its mountains, and only 4 hours from the city you can have contact with natural spaces and enjoy a good hike.
